The Land explore la transformation de matériaux résiduels ménagers en une œuvre narrative et évolutive. Chaque pièce est un assemblage unique, issu de matériaux déconstruits, transfigurés puis reconfigurés. Ces matériaux, répertoriés sur des présentoirs, deviennent les pièces d’un jeu en expansion. Chaque pièce suit un parcours qui lui est propre, documenté dans le catalogue. Il est possible de collecter une pièce ou de construire un catalogue tangible avec les photos et accessoires mis à la disposition des Lecteurs de The Land, en quantité limitée. Pour obtenir un pack, il est nécessaire d’obtenir une entrée dans un lot. Celle-ci garantit l’accès aux packs du collecteur tout au long de l’achèvement des pièces du catalogue, à un tarifs déterminé à l’avance et propre à chaque lot. Le collecteur d’un pièce peut l’activer dans le catalogue. Cette activation lui permet d’interagir avec le jeu. Une pièce vendue mais non activée apparaît dans le catalogue sous l’étiquette “inactive" ; dans cet état elle n’est que décoration dans le foyer de son collecteur. Vous êtes invités à voter directement dans le catalogue pour votre pièce favorite. Celle qui obtient le plus de voix est mises en vente. Le vote constitue la seule voie d’accès à la section des FLAT dans le catalogue. / The Land explores the transformation of residual household materials into a narrative and evolving work. Each piece is a unique assemblage, made from materials that are deconstructed, transfigured, then reconfigured. These materials, listed on display stands, become the pieces of an expanding game. Each piece follows a path of its own, documented in the catalogue. It is possible to collect a piece or to build a tangible catalogue with the photographs and accessories made available to the Readers of The Land, in limited quantity. To obtain a pack, it is necessary to obtain an entry in a lot. This entry guarantees access to the collector packs throughout the completion of the catalogue pieces, at a price determined in advance and specific to each lot. The collector of a piece can activate it in the catalogue. This activation allows the collector to interact with the game. A piece that is sold but not activated appears in the catalogue under the label “inactive”; in this state, it is nothing more than decoration within the home of its collector. You are invited to vote directly in the catalogue for your favorite piece. The one that obtains the most votes is put up for sale. Voting constitutes the sole means of access to the FLAT section of the catalogue.

Ce livret contient les Instructions nécessaires à l’embarquement d’un voyage. Avec ces Instructions et les enseignements du Maître, le lecteur peut avancer sur le quai, en direction du bateau. Ce document constitue le premier Volume d’une composition à la fois conceptuelle, opérative et transitive. À terme, les Instructions permettront à ceux qui le choisissent de transférer leur source dans le prochain tableau. La suite dépend de ceux qui n'ont pas cédé au serpent le sens de discerner tensions qui s’affrontent entre la face de Dieu et celle de Satan, sur la pièce du Maître. Dans cette histoire, un passage leur est rendu remis en pièces à l’Ordre, une doctrine qui prévaut sur la division des peuples et des religions à travers l’histoire de l’humanité. / This booklet contains the Instructions necessary for embarking on a voyage. With these Instructions and the teachings of the Master, the reader may advance along the quay, toward the ship. This document constitutes the first Volume of a composition that is at once conceptual, operative, and transitive. In time, the Instructions will allow those who choose it to transfer their source into the next board. What follows depends on those who have not yielded to the serpent the faculty of discerning the tensions that contend with one another between the face of God and that of Satan, upon the Master’s piece. In this story, a passage is granted to them: rendered piece by piece to the Order, a doctrine that prevails over the division of peoples and religions throughout the history of humanity.

Dans le catalogue, toutes les pièces n’ont pas en même temps, une chance égale d’être élues. Certaines captent le regard dès leur enregistrement tandis que d’autre obtiendront cette attention ultérieurement, après un ou plusieurs rebranchements. L’enregistrement d’une pièce ne marque donc pas la fin de son parcours dans le montage : tant qu’elle n’a pas été collectée, elle est peut être rebranchée. / Not every piece in the catalog has an equal chance of being chosen. Some catch the eye as soon as they're recorded, while others will get that attention later, after one or more rebranching. The recording of a piece therefore does not mark the end of its journey in the montage: as long as it has not been collected, it can be rebranched.

La guerre entre les Disciples et l’ennemi se prépare. C’est la troisième guerre mondiale une guerre sans précédent, dissimulée sous le voile des tensions qui s’installent partout sur le tableau. L’éclosion de l’œuf dans lequel le vaisseau a pris forme est imminente, et celui-ci est prêt à décoller. Bientôt, les joueurs seront appelés à se révéler pour entrer dans la première phase du ver. The imagery is intentionally saturated with a softened resolution, creating a worn / aged effect reminiscent of vintage printing. Shipped via standard letter mail in a stamped envelope, without tracking.

While the pieces are being collected, they are loaded into the cubes of the case, gradually raising the level within the reservoir of collectible cards. Once the structure reaches three cubes in height, collectible cards will become available.
